Beng Kee, brother of Teoh Beng Hock demanding justice for his late brother!
Though there was very strong support for a Royal Commission for Teoh Beng Hock's death but only an Inquest was accorded by our Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak. The Inquest started on 29 July 2009 but was postponed to Aug 5. This postponement is a blessing that will allow Gobind Singh Deo, the lawyer for Teoh's family more time to study the evidence in greater detail.
However, Veteran DAP politician Lim Kit Siang continued to call on our PM to expand the scope of a royal commission to include circumtances leading to Teoh's death.
